Precisely what I require for an early morning workout session. A fantastic blend of fitness activities, complete with options for modifications if necessary.
Elizabeth Simmons (2025-08-06, 10:12 a.m.):
Top-notch amenities for a round of hockey or a refreshing dip in the pool.
Debra Wilson (2025-08-06, 10:06 a.m.):
The ice surface is consistently well-maintained at this place. However, the dressing rooms can be a bit inconsistent in terms of cleanliness and organization.
Gary Ramirez (2025-08-05, 8:03 p.m.):
I just drove 40 minutes to bring my child for skating, only to arrive and find out that skating doesn't start until 3:15, despite your voicemail stating it was from 2:15 - 3:15. Please ensure your schedule is accurate. Now I have to wait here for 2 hours before my child can skate. Extremely frustrating!!!
Amelia Clark (2025-08-04, 9:29 p.m.):
Our granddaughter had a day off from school so we decided to take her skating. It was her first time on skates and we had a blast! She absolutely loved it and now she's already asking when we can go again. ❤️
Jason Campbell (2025-08-03, 8:30 p.m.):
We had a fantastic solo swim session at the leisure centre.
Ava Morales (2025-08-02, 6:06 p.m.):
Fantastic spot for some ice hockey and a dip in the pool with the grandkids. You've got squash courts, fitness rooms, and a lovely waiting area too.
Larry Hernandez (2025-08-01, 4:00 p.m.):
I do wish the recreation center was open 24/7, and I find the co-ed sauna a bit unusual. Personally, I'd prefer a women-only option. The gym is pretty basic, good for beginners though.
James Nelson (2025-07-30, 10:41 a.m.):
Over the past decade, there has been a significant reduction in the weekday time slots allocated for senior skate at our recreation center. Previously, we enjoyed 2 hours on some weekday mornings, but this was cut down to just one hour. Despite protests, the timings were shifted to the afternoons, only to be further reduced later on. The staff has been evasive when asked about the reasons behind these changes, especially when it appears that there is available ice time.

Many of us have a lifelong passion for skating and wish to continue enjoying this activity. I am pleased to share that we now have one-hour time slots scheduled three times a week in the mornings. It's a step in the right direction, and we appreciate the consideration. Thank you for listening to our concerns.
Susan Long (2025-07-29, 3:19 a.m.):
My daughter absolutely adores the swimming lessons at this recreation center. The kiddy pool is not only spacious but also comfortably warm.
Samantha Green (2025-07-26, 5:00 p.m.):
Absolutely loved it! My first visit to the recreation center was an amazing experience.👌
Larry Reyes (2025-07-26, 8:13 a.m.):
The swimming facilities are quite unsanitary. I often find myself concerned about the risk of contracting some sort of fungal infection while navigating the pools and changing rooms.
Evelyn Lopez (2025-07-26, 2:54 a.m.):
This place looks absolutely brilliant, I can't wait to actually go and take a dip in the pool!
Stephanie Reed (2025-07-25, 6:10 a.m.):
Accessible parking spots are fantastic, but it's frustrating when people park in unauthorized spaces and block vehicles that need access. It can really put a damper on the visit to the recreation center.
Logan Kelly (2025-07-22, 8:38 a.m.):
I am grateful for the amazing programmes and amenities that are accessible here in Kawartha Lakes.
Ronald Long (2025-07-21, 8:10 p.m.):
Just got a membership for my daughter at the recreation center. The whole process was smooth and the staff were really friendly. Great experience!
Emily Moore (2025-07-21, 2:39 p.m.):
A far superior option for accessing town amenities compared to those found in the Durham region.
Keith Brown (2025-07-21, 11:53 a.m.):
I was up in the upstairs room dedicated to my dear uncle Fred, lovely spot from what we could see.
Larry Reyes (2025-07-20, 10:25 p.m.):
