Service Options and Planning

While some individuals have expressed concerns about the availability of therapists at times, many have acknowledged the dedication and responsiveness of staff in addressing these issues.

Client Experiences

Reviews from clients highlight the clinic's strengths and areas for improvement. One client noted, "I signed up for the social anxiety group though haven't started the program yet. I've had a great experience thus far - staff have been responsive, flexible with scheduling, and very kindly offered to send the results of an assessment they paid for to my other psychologist." This demonstrates the clinic's commitment to patient care. However, not all experiences have been positive. Another client raised concerns about therapist preparedness and session quality, stating, "My therapist seems to be rushing from one appointment to another... I am thinking I should have notes for all our sessions." Such feedback emphasizes the need for continuous improvement within the clinic.

Thought Leadership and Community Engagement

Dr. Paul Kelly, a key figure at The Mindfulness Clinic, has conducted workshops and presentations on mindfulness and mental health, receiving accolades for his knowledgeable and engaging approach. Clients have remarked on the value of his talks, which blend scientific research with practical mindfulness techniques. For example, one attendee stated, "He gave a great talk about mental health... with a nice balance of being informative and using humour."

Ann Parker (2025-07-17, 3:45 a.m.):
I have registered for the social anxiety group but have not yet commenced the program. It's been a smashing experience so far - the team has been quite responsive, accommodating with scheduling, and generously offered to send the assessment results they funded to my other psychologist. I shall keep you posted after attending the group, but thus far, I am absolutely chuffed with my experience - they genuinely seem to prioritize patient care. Cheers!
Susan Thompson (2025-07-15, 3:05 p.m.):
Dr. Kelly gave really helpful advice and was there to answer all my queries. Much appreciated.
Susan Ross (2025-07-15, 2:42 p.m.):
I would not suggest working with them. I had a conversation with someone who seemed more worried about the rating I was going to give than actually providing consultation. Subsequently, they fabricated non-factual excuses to postpone or cancel sessions. The main point to remember is that you should only engage with them if you are prepared to give false high ratings, because if you don't, they will fabricate numerous administrative obstacles to ensure you commit to a high rating.
Jessica Nelson (2025-07-14, 9:53 p.m.):
The intake team was so lovely and understanding, and my therapist helped me feel comfortable right away so I could concentrate on making progress.
Kenneth Anderson (2025-07-13, 4:55 a.m.):
I recently went to my first mindfulness retreat at this place, and it was a brilliant experience. Dr. Kelly and Katherine are so thoughtful and kind with such great senses of humour. The atmosphere was really welcoming and positive. I learned so much. Thank you!

Dr. Kelly's presentation on mindfulness and psychotherapy at Queen's University was absolutely brilliant. It was incredibly informative and practical, including real mindfulness meditation sessions.

He delivered a brilliant lecture on mental well-being at Queen's University, striking a lovely balance between being informative and infusing humor to drive his insights across :)
Lauren Brooks (2025-07-08, 7:54 p.m.):
I undertook the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy course about 1.5 years ago. It has been tremendously beneficial for me. They are still providing support for my meditation practice. Today, I participated in a full-day retreat and I am continuing to nurture my practice and see it flourish.
Ruth Walker (2025-07-05, 2:19 a.m.):
I was quoted $225 for less than an hour of a therapist's time. It seems like mental health care is only accessible to the wealthy, as therapists need to fund their new yachts for summer.
Robert Long (2025-07-04, 1:10 p.m.):
Dr. Kelly 'as recently provided me with expert advice that proved to be extremely beneficial. 'E went the extra mile, exceeding the expectations of many. 'E is evidently a compassionate and considerate individual.

I recently finished a 3-day retreat focusing on mindfulness meditation. I cannot recommend it enough!
Carol Morales (2025-06-24, 12:00 a.m.):
I participated in a mindfulness-based stress reduction course one year ago, and have since incorporated a daily practice that has greatly improved my emotional well-being.
Attending a 3-day retreat recently served as a reminder that Dr. Kelly's methodology is truly a path filled with compassion and sincerity. It is evident that her approach is caring, empathetic, and at times delightfully humorous.
Kyle Gomez (2025-06-22, 4:37 p.m.):
I had the pleasure of attending a mindfulness/meditation retreat today, and I must say it was a truly enlightening experience. The instructors expertly led the meditation practice, highlighting the benefits and relevance of meditation in our lives. The chance to engage with fellow participants, share experiences, and ask questions really broadened my understanding of mindfulness. I now feel motivated to incorporate meditation into my daily routine moving forward.
Ann Nelson (2025-06-21, 5:08 a.m.):
I had a couple of therapy sessions at this place..the therapist was decent but they kept on forgetting to send appointment confirmations and I always had to chase them up to obtain my insurance receipts. Once, even the date was incorrect. Quite aggravating, really.
Rose Morales (2025-06-18, 9:10 p.m.):
Dr. Kelly provided me with excellent professional guidance. Their expertise is truly impressive.
Abigail Taylor (2025-06-11, 8:53 p.m.):
A truly professional community of sensitive and insightful staff with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Their commitment and humility touched me deeply. Thank you for the impactful work you do.
Mark Richardson (2025-06-11, 1:34 a.m.):
I've been seeing my therapist Tina Hjorngaard for a few years now, and she's absolutely fantastic at her job. She's consistently insightful and always brings a fresh perspective, which is exactly what I require. I've seen other therapists before, and I'm inclined to think there aren't many like her around. I would suggest her to my friends and family if it weren't for the conflict of interest, but I highly recommend her to anyone reading this.
