Our family availed ourselves of Children's Mental health services following my split from my ex-partner. They really smoothed the path for my eldest, making the transition from one household to two much smoother for him. Much appreciation for all your efforts.

After speaking with Nancy Hamilton and her colleagues, I felt compelled to provide an update. Nancy went above and beyond to address my mother's concerns and took our feedback very seriously. I now feel much more optimistic about utilizing their services as they demonstrated genuine care and a commitment to providing the support we need. It is important to acknowledge Nancy's efforts and hold both parties accountable.

I must express my disappointment in the services provided by this organization. As someone who has experience with adult mental health services and works in special education, I was appalled by the lack of professionalism and qualifications displayed here. They closed cases without agreement, offered limited solutions, and failed to prioritize the well-being of the individuals they serve. I am deeply concerned for those who rely on their services and hope that improvements can be made in Belleville.

I was particularly disheartened by the behavior of Krista, Warren, and Maria, who exhibited unprofessionalism and a lack of empathy. It is troubling that individuals like them are considered professionals in this field. Other professionals I have consulted with share my concerns about the harmful practices of this organization. My apologies to those who have no alternative but to seek assistance from them.

Upon reviewing the statements from Child Centred Services, it is evident that this location does not align with the organization's overall mission and values. Changes are needed to ensure that the best interests of children and families are prioritized.

Didn't even seem to care much when I called and talked to them about an issue at hand...they said an intake could be scheduled in 6 weeks, then it would take 5 months to get an appointment for a child? No other assistance was offered.

I inquired if there were any other resources outside of them, and she insisted that in this area they are the only ones.

The mental health of children doesn't appear to be a priority to them?

It's truly disheartening...

Let's hope that in time we can provide children with the genuine help they require...

I got in touch with Children's Mental Health when we found out my husband had pancreatic cancer. The counselor supported my son throughout the entire journey, even up to 3 months after his passing. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made.
