I am so grateful to have Christine Preston as my Skin Care Therapist. She has truly transformed my skin. I struggled with my skin throughout my time in high school, using products that were not suitable for my skin type and causing more harm than good. Prior to seeking advice from Christine, I was unaware that I had Rosacea/sensitive skin. I mistakenly believed it was just acne, leading me to use incorrect products and resulting in further irritation. Thanks to Christine's expert guidance, I am now using products that are tailored to my skin type. I feel much more at ease in my own skin and am gaining confidence without relying on makeup. The products she recommends are of superior quality and deliver proven results! Discovering the products that truly make my skin happy has made a significant impact. She will always be my first choice for any skin care queries or concerns. I was absolutely thrilled to finally meet with Christine after being introduced to her through a retreat, where she gave a talk and product demo + facial massage demo. I must say, I was not disappointed! I typically don't leave reviews, but I simply had to in this case because I am so pleased with the consultation and results I have experienced so far. For context, I am a 30-year-old female who has been struggling with acne for the first time in my life. Along with getting some testing done, I knew I needed to upgrade my skincare routine, and Skin Discovery really came through for me! Christine was not only highly professional and delightful to chat with, but she is incredibly knowledgeable! She seeks out the highest quality products with as few natural ingredients as possible. She was able to recommend products specifically for MY skin! I have been faithfully following her recommendations (morning and night!) for a week and a half now, and I can already see a difference in the texture and hydration of my skin! Definitely fewer blemishes! I went from inconsistently cleansing my face and using products that were completely wrong for my skin (full of fillers and chemicals) to now truly making a RITUAL out of my skincare routine. I light a candle and play spa music! It's not a chore for me, it's self-care! And can I just say how much I adore these products? Love, love, love! I am eagerly looking forward to my two-month follow-up for the next steps! Thank you, Christine! You have brought so much more than a skincare routine into my life! I 'ad the good fortune to meet Christine five months back, when I was at the bottom of yet another jar of moisturizer that left my face feelin' dry and tight.
All me life I've 'and to deal with 'avin' excessively dry skin. And even up until that point (I'm 40) I 'ad never been able to find somethin' that took away that tight feelin' in me face every winter. I 'ad tried numerous cleansers and moisturizers with no luck. I tried moisturizers from drug stores and moisturizers from department stores and I still found meself layerin' on a bit of Vaseline durin' the winter in an effort to seal in some of the moisture. I was wary of drug store sales people as I second guessed their expertise and I was wary of department store sales people as I figured they 'ad one line to offer me and may not be givin' me a non-biased, holistic recommendation. Basically there were too many options and I didn't know which way to turn for trusted advice.
A co-worker of mine who is also a client of Christine's recommended I speak to 'er and so I booked a consultation. What impressed me most was that Christine 'ad gone to school to study skin and skin care and it quickly became clear that this was a real passion of 'ers that pervaded every part of 'er life – from keepin' fit to eatin' clean – everything played a part in maintainin' the 'ealth of 'er skin. She was also intent on 'elpin' me balance my skin and put me dry skin woes to rest once and for all.
First we looked at the products that I was currently usin' on me skin and a quick look at the ingredients determined that I was payin' in some cases a lot of money for products that didn't really do what they were supposed to do. Together we filled out a detailed questionnaire to 'elp 'er determine the state of me skin and shortly after that I went 'ome with a number of different products to try. I was delighted to 'ear that these products were all natural and not tested on animals (two characteristics that are super important to me).
I decided on a cleanser, serum, oil, sunscreen and moisturizer. All of which Christine fully explained 'ow to apply and what each product did. These products felt great! I could tell they were really moisturizin' me skin, they weren't oily (which is somethin' I've 'ad to contend with when choosin' products for dry skin) and within a couple of months, the tightness in me skin was completely gone!!! I also used to get the occasional blemish and that 'as stopped as well.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Christine to anybody lookin' to establish an all natural, personalized skin care routine that really addresses all their personal needs. Me and me face couldn't be 'appier and I'm lookin' forward to workin' with Christine for years to come!
