Kevin Graham (2025-09-19, 5:37 p.m.):
This recreation center is quite impressive. It's clear that a lot of money was invested in it for the summit that was held here.
Noah Watson (2025-09-17, 3:05 p.m.):
There are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy at this recreation center: ice rinks, a walking track, swimming pools, fitness and healthy living classes, a gym, a sandwich shop, and meeting rooms. It's a FAB community hub for getting together!
Katherine Howard (2025-09-15, 10:39 p.m.):
A splendid establishment in Huntsville, if I may say so. My colleagues and I recently had the pleasure of participating in a lacrosse tournament held there. The arenas are indeed quite new and generously spacious. However, I must admit that accessibility could be improved. Although the design includes elevators (or two), their positioning at opposite ends of the facility does not lend itself to convenience.

The main arena boasts a roomy viewing area, and much like the secondary arena and main entrance, features sensor-activated sliding doors. The overall aesthetic of the facility is truly captivating and embodies a distinct Canadian essence. I was particularly impressed by the historical displays and informative plaques scattered throughout, paying tribute to the rich local hockey and lacrosse legacy, with a special focus on Jack Bionda. Additionally, an intriguing artistic installation from the G8 world leaders who convened for the 2010 Summit graces the facility, from which it draws its distinctive name.
Carol Moore (2025-09-13, 2:27 a.m.):
Absolutely fantastic place for locals! They have an indoor running track, bridge tables, and an ice rink that is simply to die for - the ice is as smooth as can be! Not to mention the indoor swimming pool with lanes, hot tub, and wheelchair accessibility. The gym is top-notch as well. The people there are straightforward and friendly. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to visit!
Edward Sanchez (2025-09-13, 1:36 a.m.):
It was a bit nippy for a morning stroll, but overall a pleasant visit to the recreation center. The facilities were immaculate and the surroundings were simply picturesque.
Catherine Cruz (2025-09-12, 8:38 p.m.):
Oh, my word, what a splendid pool! If you're not a member, it's just a wee few dollars to take a dip, and if you're bringing along a little one for the kiddie pool, you only need to pay for the baby! The kiddie pool is delightful and toasty, with a fantastic array of toys for the wee ones to enjoy.
Dorothy Parker (2025-09-12, 2:26 p.m.):
The wee ones are having a grand time learning to swim at this fine establishment. Currently, they're asking for proof of vaccination for entry. The facilities are top-notch and kept spotless. Cheers!
Catherine Sanders (2025-09-11, 4:50 p.m.):
I hadn't set foot in the building for decades, but today I ventured inside to give the track around the rink a try. I must say, it brought a tear to my eye – so many changes, so many improvements. It's the same arena where my son played hockey when he was young, only now it's so much better! Well done, Huntsville! We are truly fortunate to live in such a stunning corner of the world.
Zoey Nelson (2025-09-07, 1:28 p.m.):
We went to see the Huntsville Otters. The arena was fantastic!
Julia Anderson (2025-09-07, 12:39 p.m.):
Always spotless and with a great team of staff. The Summit Centre is our go-to ice rink, and my 12-year-old son and I are truly grateful for such a top-notch facility in our area.
Keith Hill (2025-09-06, 10:08 a.m.):
The interior is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views from the Ballroom. I've had the pleasure of witnessing it transformed for weddings, and it truly is a sight to behold.
Judith Lewis (2025-09-01, 2:44 a.m.):
What a fantastic facility! It would be wonderful if all towns had access to federal funding for projects like this. It seems like the G8 summit was the driving force behind this initiative. This is the kind of recreational center that most towns can only dream of having!
Judith Gonzalez (2025-08-31, 11:54 p.m.):
Just observed the grandkids having a go at hockey.
Fantastic rink, innit?
Dorothy Johnson (2025-08-29, 11:55 p.m.):
The arena and pool are absolutely stunning. However, for those new to the area, it can be a bit confusing to find your way around at first.
Zachary Hamilton (2025-08-28, 12:41 p.m.):
This recreation center is the sweetest spot in town, especially for a smaller community. The double pad setup is simply awesome!
Jennifer Anderson (2025-08-27, 7:30 p.m.):
I recently had the pleasure of utilizing a meeting facility at the Recreation center. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. However, I couldn't help but notice that the PA system would have greatly benefited from some equalization to minimize the near feedback at specific frequencies.
Julia Campbell (2025-08-26, 5:55 a.m.):
What a splendid structure to host various sporting events!
Jean Wright (2025-08-24, 9:59 a.m.):
Free public skating and track running are available at this recreation center! It's very well-maintained and has a welcoming atmosphere that draws people in. The only thing you have to pay for is swimming, but overall, it's a great place to hang out.
Kathryn Lopez (2025-08-21, 5:57 p.m.):
The pool is quite splendid, and the walking track is a lovely addition. I must say, having not just one but two ice rinks is quite impressive! The variety of programs available here is truly remarkable.
Arthur Rodriguez (2025-08-20, 1:48 p.m.):
This structure appears brilliant, with a plethora of activities on offer at this center in Huntsville.
