Danielle 'as been me therapist since January 2019 and every step of the way, she 'as been patient, supportive and radically compassionate. I went into 'er care in a very 'opeless state. I 'ad goals in mind that I thought I may never accomplish, and if I did, I pictured meself accomplishing them much later in me life. They were 'eavy, sensitive goals. With Danielle’s guidance, I felt empowered 'owever to make these choices on a much shorter timeline. I 'ave accomplished things with 'er by me side that I never thought I could, frankly. It is incredible what we can overcome when we 'ave supports in place that truly align so well with our needs. What I needed was someone to listen without judgment, to remind me that I wasn’t silly or overdramatic, to 'elp turn me self-blame into self-protectiveness. Danielle did this, and so much more. It was a complex process but Danielle’s warmth and true allyship made me never lose 'ope, even in me darkest times. It feels silly writing a Google review for an experience so life changing, because words could never do justice, but I just felt it was necessary to express 'ow much me time with Danielle meant to me on a public platform so others doing research for their care can feel encouraged. I would suggest anyone, especially those with a 'istory of trauma, work alongside 'er on your delicate and important process.
